Heavenly Rich Liver Recipe

INGREDIENTS (serves 2)


  • Liver 250 grams (cow, lamb, pig, poultry)

  • 2 large tomato 1 diced for cooking and 1 sliced for salad

  • 1 onion diced

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil (tallow, butter, ghee, lard coconut oil, palm oil)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 butternut sliced


METHOD


  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat

  • Fry onion

  • Then add liver cut into small to medium pieces

  • Fry for 5 minutes then add tomato

  • Keep stirring for a further 5 minutes

  • Add salt and pepper once liver is cooked

  • Serve with Steamed butternut and sliced fresh tomato


TIP

Add salt when liver is cooked otherwise it hardens and gets tough and rubbery to chew
