Mixed Beef Stew

This recipe gives you all the nutrients you so need for a healthy body, comprising of beef, mixed veges carrots, green beans, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and kale. Green beans are a good source of fibre, folic acid , silicon Vitamin A, C & K.
All the ingredients are in their natural form and all vegetables with the exception of mushrooms came from my allotment just the way nature intended.
INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
250 grams brisket beef (cut into medium pieces)
1 large tomato (seed and skin removed)
1 cup green beans chopped
2 carrots diced
2 portobello mushrooms sliced
1 onion
100 g kale finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Any of your favourite herbs and spices
1 cup bone/vegetable broth
4 Tablespoons cooking oil ( Tallow, Lard, butter, ghee, coconut oil, duck oil, palm oil)
METHOD
Heat oil in a pot on medium heat
Add the meat and fry till brown
Add onions and keep frying till onions translucent
Add tomato and stir for 5 minutes
Add bone broth and simmer for 20 minutes
In a different pot steam kale to leave it nice and green
Then add all vegetables, salt and pepper, any herbs/spices mix thoroughly and simmer for 5 minutes
That's your beef stew ready you can serve it with any low dense carbohydrate like cauliflower or broccoli rice.
TIP
Kale is steamed separately to keep its beautiful deep green colour. Once mixed with tomatoes it turns to a brown colour. Remember you start eating with your sense of sight so keep your kale green and appealing to your sight.
