Pan Roast Chuck With Sweet Potato

INGREDIENTS (serves 1)


  • 200 grams brisket

  • 1 medium sweet potato

  • 200 grams chard

  • 4 tablespoons ghee/butter/tallow

  • 1 tomato chopped seeds removed

  • 1 onion diced

  • Salt and pepper to taste


METHOD


  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat

  • Season beef with salt and pepper and place in frying pan for about 20 minutes till brown

  • Transfer beef into a bowl

  • Add onion, tomato, chard and thyme to the frying pan, mix and fry for 5 minutes

  • Steam sweet potato

  • Serve and enjoy
