Roasted Pork Shoulder


Healthy recipe with all ingredients from nature, no preservatives, no additives, no processing,

Just the way nature Intended


INGREDIENTS (serves 4)


  • Pork shoulder 500 grams

  • 1 cauliflower head

  • Broccoli 200 grams

  • 4 carrots

  • 2 sweet potatoes

  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil (lard, butter, ghee, coconut oil, palm oil)

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Herb of your choice rosemary, thyme


METHOD


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Gas mark 6

  • Cut/slice all vegetables and spread them in a tray

  • Place pork shoulder on top of vegetables

  • Spread the oil on both meat and vegetables

  • Sprinkle herbs on top

  • Place tray in oven and cook for 30 minutes

  • Turn meat and vegetables over and cook for a further 30 minutes

  • Check if meat is cooked add salt And pepper and cook for a further 10 minutes

  • Let the meat rest for 10-20 minutes before serving
