Savoury Vegetables


Vegetables have a place in nature to nourish the human body

INGREDIENTS (serves 6)


  • 250 grams mushrooms

  • 1 head cabbage chopped

  • 1 head cauliflower chopped

  • 250 grams broccoli

  • 2 leeks chopped

  • 2 onions chopped

  • 2 large tomatoes sliced

  • 4 carrots chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic crushed

  • 4 Tablespoons ghee or butter

  • 1 teaspoon curry

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup broth


METHOD


  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat

  • Fry onions and garlic for 3 minutes

  • Add mushrooms and keep stirring

  • Add the rest of the vegetables and broth, bring to the boil

  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes

  • Serve with your favourite meat dish
