Simple Bacon & Egg Breakfast

This is a quick and simple recipe to prepare and handy to take to work for your mid morning break. Bacon is a nutritious source of the B Vitamins, selenium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium and Omega-3 fatty acids. It is best to get your bacon from your local butcher and make sure no preservatives like sodium nitrites have been used.
Any additives cause inflammation and disrupt normal flow of hormones.
Here we use ingredients in their natural form just the way nature intended.
INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
6 Bacon rashers
6 Eggs
3 Tablespoons cooking oil (ghee, butter, lard, duck fat, coconut oil, Tallow, palm oil)
salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
Line a baking sheet with foil
Lay bacon rashers on top of the rack
Place in oven at 200 degrees Celsius (Gas mark 6)
Cook for 15 minutes and turn the bacon over half way through
While the bacon is in oven heat oil on medium heat and prepare your scrambled eggs
