SPICED CHICKEN THIGHS


A very healthy dish to enjoy on the detox program. Does not cause a high insulin surge and helps in releasing excess weight and lowering inflammation. A good dish to take to work and avoid using the canteen or any takeaway. All natural ingredients

INGREDIENTS


  • Packet with 10 chicken thighs

  • 1 tablespoon Baharat Spice

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cajun

  • 2 tablespoons ghee/butter

  • 4 carrots

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 1 onion

  • 1 sweet potato


METHOD


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Gas mark 6

  • Chop all vegetables and lay then on a tray

  • Spread the ghee/butter on the vegetables

  • Place chicken thighs on top of vegetables and sprinkle all spices and herbs on top

  • Place tray in oven and cook for an hour turning chicken over half way through

  • Rest for 10 minutes

  • Serve and enjoy
