Tasty Guinea Fowl

Guinea fowl is a free range bird with a delicious characteristic taste which falls between chicken and pheasant. A very good source of protein, niacin, Vitamin B6 and selenium, all needed by the body

Just The Way Nature Intended


  • 1 Guinea Fowl

  • 2 heads Broccoli chopped

  • 2 courgettes chopped

  • 4 carrots chopped

  • 1 onion chopped

  • 2 stalks celery chopped

  • 2 tablespoons ghee

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Gas Mark 6

  • Sprinkle peppers and salt on guinea fowl and inside

  • Spread all vegetables in a tray

  • Apply ghee on vegetables

  • Place guinea fowl on top of vegetables

  • Cook for half an hour and turn guinea fowl over and cook for a further 30 minutes

  • When cooked leave to stand before serving

  • Enjoy the tasty guinea fowl and vegetables
