Today's yummy recipe - BRISKET WITH KALE:

500 grams brisket 250 grams finely chopped kale 3 peeled tomatoes 1 finely chopped onion 1 scotch bonnet (optional) 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 Tablespoons butter/ghee/lard 1 teaspoon sea/ himalayan salt 200 mls water or bone broth


Cut brisket into medium size pieces Heat butter in a large pot (medium heat) Add the meat and fry till brown Add onion and keep stirring till onion is transluscent Then add tomatoes and continue stirring until tomato chunks have all dissolved Add cayenne pepper, scotch bonnet and salt Add water Cover and simmer for 20 minutes Stir in kale and simmer for 5 minutes Serve with your favourite healthy source of carbohydrates sweet potatoes, pumpkin,butternut, swede,yam, cassava
