Delectable Beef Short Ribs



The recipe is excellent for those on the journey to releasing excess weight. The proteins and animal fats from the beef short ribs will keep one satiated for longer. The vegetables have loads of fibre to keep your gut moving avoiding constipation. See the beautiful trays above before and after.

INGREDIENTS(serves 1)


  • 500 grams beef short ribs

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 white onion

  • 1 cup mushrooms

  • 3 Bell peppers, yellow green red (seeds removed)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 Tablespoons cooking oil (tallow, butter, ghee, coconut oil)



METHOD


  • Marinate beef overnight with your favourite spices

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Gas mark 6

  • Place beef in a tray with all your vegetables, salt, pepper and drizzle cooking oil on top

  • Place in an oven and cook for an hour turning meat and veges half way through

  • Check if beef ready if more time required cook for a further half an hour

  • When ready serve and enjoy
