Divine Lamb Shanks

Nutritious recipe with all natural ingredients,

Just the way nature Intended

INGREDIENTS (serves 2)

  • 2 lamb shanks

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil (tallow, butter, ghee, lard, coconut oil, palm oil)

  • 1 onion diced

  • 1 celery stalk chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves crushed

  • 1 sprig of rosemary diced

  • 1 sprig fresh dill

  • 5 cups broth or stock

  • Steamed vegetables cauliflower, broccoli, red bell pepper, mushrooms, green beans

  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  • Heat oil in a casserole pan over medium heat

  • Add shanks and fry until browned all over

  • Add onion, garlic, tomato, salt and pepper

  • Pour broth, reduce heat and simmer for two hours

  • Steam your other vegetables

  • Make a nice bed from your steamed vegetables

  • Serve shanks on a nice bed of steamed vegetables

  • Thread dill into the hollow of the bone
