Fit For A King Salmon


One of the easiest and quickest way to prepare salmon with just three green vegetables to compliment the dish. My peas, asparagus stalks and broad beans were freshly picked from my allotment.


Just The Way Nature Intended


INGREDIENTS (serves 2)


  • 2 Salmon Fillets

  • 1 cup fresh peas

  • 4 Asparagus stalks

  • 1 cup fresh broad beans

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil (Tallow, butter, ghee, coconut oil, palm oil)

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1/2 Lemon juice


METHOD


  • Stand salmon in room temperature at least half an hour before cooking

  • Squeeze lemon on the salmon

  • Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste

  • Steam-fry vegetables by heating a tablespoon of oil over medium heat

  • Add vegetables, salt and stir-fry for 5 minutes

  • Add 3 tablespoons water and immediately cover with a lid to keep steam inside

  • In a pan heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium heat

  • When piping hot add salmon and cook for 10 minutes turning fillets half way

  • Ready! Your fit for a King Salmon is ready
