Heavenly Mince with Olives

A combination of mince meat and olives makes this recipe a heavenly dish. Both have amazing benefits for the body, olives are high in Vitamin E , antioxidants and the oil helps skin stay soft and supple hence its a major ingredient in most cosmetics for skin and hair. Why not have them as part of your meal to have a radiant and beautiful skin from within

Just The Way Nature Intended

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)

  • 500 grams minced beef

  • 1 butternut diced

  • 250 grams kale finely chopped

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 onion diced

  • 1 large tomato chopped (skin and seeds remove)

  • 1 cup olives

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil (Tallow, butter, ghee, coconut /palm oil)

  • 1/2 Cup broth/stock/water


  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Gas Mark 6

  • Spread butternuts evenly on a tray and smear a tablespoon of butter over them

  • Place in oven and cook until tender for 30 minutes

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot over medium heat

  • Fry onions until translucent

  • Add tomato and keep stirring

  • Add mince meat, olives, salt, pepper and broth

  • Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes

  • Steam kale

  • When butternuts tender serve and enjoy
