Nutrient Boost Liver Recipe


Liver is extremely high in nutrients like Iron, Copper, B Vitamins and Vitamin A ,a fat soluble vitamin that is crucial in eye and skin health. The iron is necessary for brain. muscle and haemoglobin formation. Any liver will do for this recipe lamb, chicken, goat, cattle, duck, turkey the choice is yours. The liver is best sourced from your local butcher so you get it fresh before anything is added to preserve it for longer.
All Ingredients Are In Their Natural Form Just The Way Nature Intended
INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
250 grams liver cut into small pieces
1 onion diced
1 clove garlic diced(optional)
2 Tablespoons cooking oil (ghee, butter, coconut oil, lard)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Any spices of your choice
2 Spring onions diced
1 beef tomato diced (skin and seeds removed)
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat
Add the onion and stir till translucent
Add garlic and stir for 3 minutes
Add tomato and stir till dissolved
Add liver and keep stirring for 5 minutes until cooked
Then lastly add spring onions, salt and pepper and thoroughly mix
Voila your dense nutrient liver is ready to serve with any vegetables of your choice or have it with eggs for breakfast. I had mine with scrambled eggs
TIP
Add salt right at the end when liver is well cooked to avoid liver going hard and dry. You want the liver to stay soft.
