Scrumptious T Bone Stew


Keeping it simple is the best way to eating healthy. The recipe below has a few ingredients in their natural form. Simple to prepare as well. Scrumptious in your mouth and your gut loves these ingredients.

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)


  • 500 grams T bone cut into medium pieces

  • 2 large tomatoes (diced and seeds and skin removed

  • 1 onion diced

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 250 grams spring greens finely chopped

  • 1 scotch bonnet diced

  • 1 cup beef stock/broth/water

  • 3 Tablespoons oil (tallow, butter, ghee, coconut oil)

  • 3 cloves garlic crushed


METHOD


  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat

  • Add meat pieces and fry till brown

  • Blend tomatoes, onion, garlic, scotch bonnet, salt and pepper together

  • Add mixture to the t bone and stir

  • Pour 1 cup bone broth/stock/water over mixture

  • Stir for 3 minutes

  • Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes

  • Serve with any low carbohydrate of your choice
