The BEST Boiled Egg Recipe



A basic recipe with just three natural ingredients from nature, LIVING, EATING, Just the way nature intended

INGREDIENTS:


  • 2-4 eggs

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon blackpepper

  • 1 Tablespoon butter

METHOD:


  • Fill a saucepan with water (half full)

  • Bring to the boil on medium heat

  • Then add eggs by sliding them gentle with a spoon

  • Depending on how you like your boiled eggs

  • Soft boiled (runny yolk)5 minutes

  • Medium boiled 7 minutes

  • Hard boiled 9 minutes

  • For an easier peel have a bowl with ¾ full iced water and also prevents yolk from discolouring to green/grey colour

  • Once your eggs are ready remove from pan and immerse them in ice cold water for 5 minutes

  • Peel, slice them in half and spread butter on them and sprinkle with salt and pepper

  • Serve with salad or any healthy food of your choice.


I served mine with bacon and a tomato
